About the team/Department you will be joining:

 

Located at our Police Headquarters, BRIDGEND .

South Wales Police have an exiting opportunity that has arisen for an Estates Administrator on a permanent basis. The Estates Administrator will add to our already strong Administration team within Estates. The successful candidate will assist the Customer Services Manager and manage administrative processes within all functional areas of the Estates & Facilities Department including processing financial transactions, be the resilience to Access Control to cover abstractions.

 

About the role and your key responsibilities:

An opportunity has arisen for a Administrator. The successful person will provide Monday to Friday support, 7 hours 24 minutes a day. This is a flexible working position that in time, will allow some degree of working flexibly.

 

What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:

 

The successful candidate must

  • Must be computer literate and proficient in all Microsoft applications.
  • Must have a high standard of keyboard skills including good speed and accuracy.
  • Must be able to support and guide individuals in supporting various business processes and I.T systems.
  • Must use initiative and act decisively, with sound judgement, taking responsibility for decisions, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements or national guidance.
  • Must be able to evidence an ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Ability to attend meetings and take minutes.
  • Must have a good telephone technique
  • Must be able to assess priorities
  • Must be able to adapt to change
  • Must be able to work as a member of a team
  • Must be receptive and respond to new procedures

A current valid driving licence is essential.

Please note the successful candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to the required level MV/SC
