Intel Admin Supervisor

Use your skills and knowledge to ensure robust processes are in place to mitigate risk and threat to the communities of Leicestershire. 

We are looking for an Intel Admin Supervisor to provide leadership and direction to the Force Intelligence Bureau, Intelligence Administration Team. This is a full time permanent opportunity working 08:00-16:00 Monday-Friday, based at Force Headquarters, Enderby, Leicester.   

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure robust processes are in place to mitigate risk and threat to the communities of Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland, and to our organisation through the ethical and timely use of intelligence.
  • To liaise with internal and external policing partners and partner agencies to optimise intelligence sharing, and tasking and briefing opportunities.
  • To manage the Force Specified Point of Contact (SPOC) capability for Police National Database, Crimestoppers and UKBA Semaphore (e-borders) remote user access.

The must haves

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent and/or have significant experience in a role requiring a similar level of skills.
  • Ability to manage and deploy resources in line with threat, risk, and harm, and to prioritise workloads effectively to achieve team objectives or a performance goal.
  • Experience of supervising a team of people where the ability to motivate, plan, implement and control tasks has been essential.

Salary: £38,007-£40,940 per annum

For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
