We are seeking an experienced and effective researcher to support strategic activity within the Hub and across the NPCC. The successful candidates will be proactive in seeking out relevant sources of information related to areas of tasked work, able to quickly develop clear understanding potentially complex and sensitive topics, able to report finding and make recommendations clearly at a variety of levels in support the of NPCC and policing activity and objectives. 

 

The successful candidate would be part of an innovative team and would need to have the following experience and skills: 

  • The ability to understand a range of data sources available across policing and how these can be used.
  • Strong report writing skills and the ability to analyse and decipher complex information into succinct, high-quality reports.
  • The ability to convey strategic findings both in writing and verbally in a meaningful and comprehensive manner to all levels, including staff and external stakeholders to support corporate and operational priorities and inform decision making.
  • The ability to develop and propose recommendations based on research and Analysis.
  • The ability to capture accurate information in a fast-paced environment.
