ICT Mobile Communications Administrator - 12 months

A great opportunity has arisen to join the Mobile Communications team as an Administrator within the BCH (Beds, Cambs & Herts) ICT Department, based at Cambridgeshire HQ. Join the exciting and dynamic world of policing and contribute towards making Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire and a safer place.

This opportunity is working with our Radio, Mobile Phone and Bodyworn camera fleets, providing critical communications and safety to front line officers. We are looking for a candidate with an interest in ICT who would like to join a dynamic team. The hiring force for this role will be Bedfordshire but the role will be mostly Cambridgeshire based.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

1st line assessment, repair and configuration for the radio, mobile phone and BWV device fleet.

Manage open calls and resolve where possible.

Assist the engineers in audits, updates and projects.
