We have a variety of vacancies and opportunities across the Force from Safeguarding and Detective roles to our front-line officers in our Response teams. Postings will be made based on operational needs and Force requirements, taking into consideration your current skills/training and previous post history. We will attempt to accommodate any preferences in locations/postings; however these cannot be guaranteed.

To be eligible to transfer to Cleveland Police you must be a substantive PC wishing to transfer at rank from a Home Office Force or Police Service of Northern Ireland. If you are a current serving Officer at British Transport Police please email HR.Recruitment@cleveland.police.uk

We will not be accepting applications on promotion at this time however we will be advertising externally in the coming months for promotion opportunities.

Due to current circumstances and demand within our training department, we are currently unable to accept transferees from Ministry of Defence, Civil Nuclear Constabulary & Police Scotland.

You will retain your:

Previous service and current levels of pay (excluding force specific benefits i.e. London Weighting)

Annual leave entitlement, as long as there is no break in service

Your current pension arrangement
